Abstractracture healing is a physiological process by which bone regenerates itself following injury. It occurs through five stages: haematoma, inflammation, callus formation, consolidation and remodeling1,2. These stages are not sharply demarcated and that two or more stages may be seen at same time in different parts of bone3.
